The
apartment is located on the quiet 'Rue Freres Roustan' side of the
building, and has a sunny southerly aspect. It is ideally situated for a relaxing holiday,
with convenient access to the nearby
beaches and the 'Old Town'. There are also numerous convenient transport
links to the surrounding Cote D'Azur.
Accomodation:
The apartment
has been undergoing some major upgrading
this winter. It has been completely repainted, new balcony furniture has
been provided, improved storage in the bedrooms, all china, glassware
and cutlery has been replaced, and we've provided all new bed linens and
towels. Further kitchen upgrades are underway, and we've added UK
FreeSat to your TV choices!
The apartment.is bright and
modern, the floor-space totals 75sqM (810 sqFt). It is double glazed
throughout, and the Living-Room is Air Conditioned. Portable fans are
provided in all rooms. The Master Bedroom is also equipped with a mobile
air-conditioning unit and additional ceiling fan.
All windows have
electrically powered shutters/screens which provide shade, privacy, and
added security.
Plentiful Hot Water is
supplied by an electric boiler system. There is no gas system in this
apartment.
Security in the Building is
ensured by a double entry door, monitored by CCTV and electronic/video
access control. There is secure
underground car-parking, and a full time Concierge in the building.
A safe is
provided for your valuables and documents.
Bedrooms:
The Master
Bedroom has a comfortable Provencal wrought iron Double Bed and
matching bedside tables with table-lamps. This bedroom has a built-in
wardrobe with shelves and hanging space. A ceiling fan is fitted for added air
circulation.
The Master bedroom has a fully tiled Ensuite
Bathroom fitted with a Bath with Shower, and matching Bidet, a vanity
unit, and heated towel rail.
The Second
Bedroom has Two comfortable Single Beds and is provided with a
separate Shower
Room and Toilet.
The shower room is fully tiled and has a fully enclosed glass shower
stall, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom also has a built-in wardrobe with
ample storage and hanging space.
Living Areas:
There is a spacious Living/Dining
Room with a black leather suite which seats five
people in comfort. A glass coffee table, side table and modern
shelving unit completes the furnishing.
Entertainment is provided by
a 21"Philips Flat Screen TV and Sony region-free DVD/CD
player. The TV has Satellite channels - including CNN and SKY News in
English. WiFi Internet is installed (you will need your own
computer). A portable CD player/Radio is provided.
There is a fixed line
telephone which will receive incoming calls.
The living room has a Double
Patio door which slides open to access a roomy Terrasse
which is in full sun from 9AM to 6PM in Summer. The terrasse is provided
with a table and chairs. Two sun-beds are also provided for sun
worshippers. An electrically operated sun-awning gives added privacy and
shade from the sun when needed.
The Dining
area has a modern glass circular dining table, and seating for Four.
A Baby High Chair and Play
Pen are available if required.
The Kitchen
is fully fitted and equipped with Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Fridge,
Hob, worktop Oven and Microwave. All Glassware, Cutlery, Crockery and
Cooking utensils are amply provided. Drying facilities consist of an
airer on the Terrasse, and an Ironing Board and Smoothing Iron are
provided.
A Vacuum Cleaner and
selection of Brushes and Mops are also provided.
Services:
One full set of Bed Linen
and Towels is supplied at the start of your holiday for each booked
occupant - free of charge. If further Linen or Towels are needed (either
at the beginning of, or during your stay) there will be a supplementary
charge, but the washing machine in the apartment allows you to take care
of your own washing and avoid any extra charges if you so wish.
The apartment is
professionally cleaned before and after your visit. There is no charge
for this service. If you wish to have extra cleaning done during your
stay, this is available at a small extra cost. Cleaning materials and
equipment are provided in the apartment for your own use.
The building is equipped
with a large secure underground Car Park. Parking is available by
arrangement at a small weekly charge. If you are using a car during your
holiday, we recommend you arrange parking with us because public parking
facilities are very limited in Antibes!
